A congruence of the four main jute growing areas of the North Eastern part of Bangladesh (Dhaka, Mymensingh, Tangail, and Comilla), which have been blesssed with fertile soil, ideal climatic conditions and most importantly the most hard working and resilient farmers who bring to life the famous JAT variety of Jute.

It is out of this potent combination of natural endowments and human endeavour. Jat area is born to reflect and bring to the world the aspirations and creativity of people and a place that has been, prior to today, unheard and unseen.
